AHHCA Membership Modalities for Practitioners The Modalities in the accompanying chart are approved singularly for AHHCA certificate membership or several in combination (a minimum of 250 hours tutorial) for full membership. Modalities are classified as Non Peak Body or Peak Body as follows:
Non Peak Body * Training hours refer to classroom training (or the equivalent for distance learning). It does not include study hours (eg. homework) outside of the classroom or training environment.
Peak Body NB. For some modalities (excluding peak body), extensive experience in the field may be approved by the Executive Committee for membership when the training hours are less than the minimum. For example, if a practitioner has 25 hours of Reiki training but has an additional 50 hours Reiki clinical practice, they may still be approved for membership on the basis of their experience. (Proof of experience must be supplied). For insurance purposes, modalities that are known by more than one title are included in brackets.
